Nathan the Wise...


Well, paints is still painting with almost the 2 big drops done...although there are still 2 more big ones and then a bunch of medium size ones (only 12'x10' or something) The ones layed out right now are 10' by 22' just to give you a frame of reference.




And in the meantime...
Props has been working away on the thrones.
It likes like almost everything is cut out and it is a lot of assembly now but it is hard to tell because the shop is a disaster.

So much for the white floor helping keep it clean. Although I do think it helps...because I know it would be worse if we couldn't see it.

By the end of the day there were little things added to the front which look cool, but they will show up in a later pic.

still going...with a painted floor and lights being hung.

The entranceway with doors (and better pic) to the left. To the right a counter. More to come on this show yet...I know of a really long wagon that I am building right now...a door unit the was worked on today and some kind of counter wagon with shelves...I haven't see the design drawings, haven't really seen the build drawings...just working on stuff.

DanceLight




The first thing when we get back is DanceLight in the Ruah Studio Theatre. This year we added a border across the top of the cyc. There may have been in one in the past I do not recall but this is new and made for this although it is about 10' to long. In the past it has always been a lot of running around and just trying to make random rigging work in the right spots for the legs. Well, this year it is a bit more professional. We went out and special pipe and actaully have it labeled.

We had a great way of making it all work anywhere (set locations though) but the grid has to go and be at different heights. I wonder if anyone has everynoticed the the north, no west...errr unistrut is about 1' lower? Well, we didn't, but now we know it is and it is a gradual change on that side, so not only is it lower than its mirror, but it is lower than itself as well....yeah, go ahead and try and figure out what I was saying.

Wel, whatever all scenery has to do now is layout the dance floor and the lighting people have their lights to hang.

I don't think these funny frames will be continuing for to long, the program that did them is a trial program that runs out in 10 days on this computer and while it would be simple to do thes in photoshop, well, that cuts into bar time.
